A running battle between black and Asian youths - a sickening example of brutal Britain today - was captured by a photographer who had been waiting in the street to take a photo of the actress Julie Christie, who lives nearby.

In one picture, youths wielding sticks and spades attack each other and in another, a youth wearing a hoodie and a baseball cap uses a screwdriver in a stabbing motion.
Some of the gang members wore masks as they charged down the street waving sticks and other assorted weapons - one even brandishing a Wellington boot as a makeshift weapon.
The fracas lasted around 20 minutes and involved at least ten gang members.
It is understood to have flared after an Asian man accused several youths of vandalising his property.
A spokesman for Scotland Yard said it had received numerous calls about the battle.
He added: "We are reviewing the evidence and will take action to identify the offenders and disrupt any further youth disturbances."Forget the police - join the Vigilantes
So a pitched battle between two groups was allowed to take place on the streets of London - and the police couldn't be bothered turning up - even though it lasted for TWENTY MINUTES and they had "received numerous calls" about it!
Yet when 12 year old Pascoe Petgrave found a £10 pound note in an ATM machine FIFTY POLICE OFFICERS turned up to arrest him!
And when asked why FIFTY officers had been present, a police spokeswoman said "...elements of this crowd were hostile to police activity...."
So it's all right for them to turn up mob-handed to arrest a 12 year old boy, but when there's REAL danger to the people who pay their wages - they can't be bothered!
Instead they simply "review the evidence" long after they could have actually arrested all concerned and THEN "reviewed the evidence" - and, who knows, perhaps even get convictions!
It is becoming increasingly obvious that when REAL crimes are being committed, London is becoming a POLICE FREE ZONE!
